Hassle Free 1031 Exchange

When I sold my shop in California, I had a big capital gain problem, how do I re-invest (1031 exchange) the equity from the relinquished property for a replacement income property. I decided that a multi residential unit at the beach would be a good start. Being unfamiliar with the area I decided to reach out to Pete Doiron, I had met Pete through mutual friends from Tampa, Pete was very familiar with the beach area and with the 1031 process, Pete set up a meeting with me to look at available multi-unit apartments along the gulf coast area between Clearwater Beach and Treasure Island. We viewed several property’s, a triplex in Indian Rocks Beach with tenants in place was my pick. From then on Pete set up a walk-through with the owner, negotiated a lower cost for me, coordinated with the 1031 exchange company and the title company and we closed shortly thereafter. Totally hassle free, very professionally accomplished, no disappointing surprises.
